My dog and chickens love each other but can my dog catch anything from my chicken as health problems or disease

If your dog eats chicken poop then there is a chance of them getting coccidiosis. My husky puppy had that happen to him when we first got him and even the vet was stumped because it wasn’t showing up in tests. It wasn’t until she mentioned coccidiosis that it clicked. For my husky it appeared in the form of nightly diarrhea. Sometimes nine times in one night, once every hour. At least he let me know when he needed out though.

You should be fine, obviously if the chickens have any diseases keep them away from your pup and vice versa. So cute that they get along!
