Has anyone fed a steady diet of pond fish (bass, bluegill, catfish) to chickens? How does it affect their behavior? Flavor of eggs or meat?

Would you do anything more than throw the fish into the run like chopping etc.?

Thanks for anything you can fill in.

It won't affect the eggs or meat of the chicken.

You can throw the fish in their run and the chickens will eat everything but the bones unless they're smaller ones. Fish is very nutritious for them.

I would remove the bones just because it would make cleaning up easier and won't attract predators. Every time I've ever left bones out for longer than an hour some type of animal shows up.

So it seems daily feeding would be limited to what they can clean up fast.

Cold morning here and coyotes are sounding off en masse or ensemble. Either one.
