Pond visitors

Our pond just iced out and my ducks and geese are enjoying the time on the pond again after wading in a kiddy pool all winter long.
with he ducks and geese swimming in our pond other migrating wild ducks and geese land often and a few new species i have never seen before have just flown in this morning.

had some hooded magansers, ringed neck ducks, mallards , and some wild canada geese. its crazy the lakes around us havent thawed yet so there all looking for a place to swim and that is our pond right now. its so much fun seeing them enjoy it. and even with our own flock

Thats neat to have happen. Even though my pens are fully enclosed I have seen a pintail drake, coupla woodies, blue wing teal, mallards and even 6 blackbellied treeducks try to get in. Good pics .Thanks for sharing. Hope you get some more to come in.
