I'm selling a 9 year old grade draft mare. Taffy weighs approx. 950#. Very sweet and gentle. Taffy was a former pulling pony so she knows her commands. Rides and pulls but doesn't neck rein. She will make an excellent farm or riding pony with a bit of training. Need to sell ASAP or she'll be going to auction the 12th. $400 firm, will also consider trading Taffy for a small dairy cow in milk.

UPDATE: Sold on 10/4/12

Yep, we did. We bought her in February, being told that she was an Amish farm pony. Little did we know the lady we bought her from was a horse trader and lied to us about the whole thing, so other than the fact that she can easily pull 1000# and is sweet, everything else was a lie. She's a competition pulling pony and is too much for us to handle. We've never had a horse/pony before, let alone one whose focus is pulling hard. She started out really good (like in the video) but once she realized we had no experience she started taking control of the pulling, and we decided she needs to go to a home where she will be handled properly.

If she wasn't so focused on pulling like that I think she'd be staying. But she can't sit around and do nothing. She really is a gem, and doesn't have "issues" when she's in heat. She technically should be selling for about 3 times as much as what we have her going for, but ponies just aren't in high demand around here.

Here she is from just the other day...
