Poo in Food

Please answer my dumb newbie question. If my birds poo in their feeder, must I throw all of their food away?

Well, it depends upon how badly it is contaminated. Try to adapt the feeders so that this does not happen. Realistically if it doesn't totally mess up the feed, simply scoop it out.

Scoop it out. It won't hurt them a bit. Every time I clean their poop board, they come rushing over to pick through it anyway.

If you can hang the feeder - it will stay a little cleaner. Chest high to smallest bird. Or you can set it on something to elevate the feeder.
