What should I do about this little poop-butt chicken i have? THankss

run its fanny under tepid water until it softens. It takes awhile sometimes. Then crush, gently, the turd. Better than trying to pull it off. It'll come. Dab dry. Dab a little vasoline. Check in 24 hours to see if condition has returned.

I find this usually happens when a bird is roosting in a nest box or on the ground. Which probably means she's sick, though I've also seen in with new birds introduced to a flock. The others throw her off the roost and in the dark she just goes to a corner and settles down. And wakes up with manure caked to her feathers. Clean her up, but check to see why it's happening.
