Poop Butt

Hi yall I have a maran chick that has dried poop on its behind what is the best way to ease it off?

I would wet a cloth or paper towel with warm water and then gently pry it off. You may need to hold the cloth on it's butt for a while before you can get it off without hurting the chick.
