After wishing I had poop catching drawers built in , that I could pull out and scrape, I had to find a new remedy. My husband suggested a clear rug runner flipped over to the seamless side. I now place that under the roosting pole and pull it out and hose it down in the morning. It is light and easy to remove and it dries on the fence in minutes.
 
I'm envisioning something like this placed on the coop floor, under the roost.

I am / we are, wanting to see how @colette04 has it setup under the roosting pole. Because pulling that 7 ft poop board out to strap can be a balancing act sometimes at my house.

Agreed...big difference between 3' and 7' poop board. My other concern would be that actually pulling it would also pull the pine chips, that are used on the coop floor, out (in my coop, at least.)

I would think that they're using a poop board like setup above the covered flooring, but you may be right to the use. Again, pics would be wonderful.
