poop catcher

Best poop solutIn ever! Ok so I have tried a poop board.. but they jump on ot and get poopy feet.so I tried a hammock,which was ok but stinky and didn't clean well or easily. I tried canvas and flag fabric. The wet poop sticks like glue. So I was browsing this forum and saw some bins under a chicken roost. I built some slide out ones on wood tracks and put sand in them. They work awesome!!. Easy to clean with a kitty scoop or other straining method. They dry out the poop and it is much less stinky.I got the bins in the cement section of menards. Also sold at Lowes.$6 each. They are 24 x 28 and work well for double or single roosts depending on the direction you mount them. LOVE IT!!!

I just joined this group and we are still in the process of building our chicken coop/run. I came upon your post and we are adding this to our coop. I love it!
