Poop in the coop

I went to clean out the chickens poop this morning and found what looks like deer poop ( a big pile of tiny balls) on their poop bar. I have never seen the chickens poop like that before, AND, it was on the poop bar which means whatever it was, was roosting. Could the chickens have pooped tiny balls like that or could it have been another animal up there with them? They are all fine acting and last night I did forget to lock them up because we were out late fishing. I wish I would’ve taken a picture but this is about what it looked like, except for it was a bigger pile. Just a note, the coop is about 2.5 feet off the ground and not big enough for a deer to fit.

Rabbit?

I mean, maybe. there’s a couple rabbits in the neighborhood but our outside cat has killed a bunch unfortunately. Our yard is fenced in and we have 2 dogs who have a doggie door so are in and out all the time. The poo looks similar to rabbit poo but that means the animal specifically jumped 2 1/2 feet into the coop then another 2 feet onto the poop bar to poop doesn’t seem logical to me.

Ok I didn’t realize their poop looked like that. There were also some feathers on the poop bar because I just thought they were molting. Fortunately all the chickens are still alive and well and I’ll have to put my live trap out I guess
