Poop- Is it normal to find egg white in it?

They usually make one poop a day that is cleaning things out, I forget what it is called. I have seen them like that with eggwhite looking stuff in it. Clear but thick

The cecal droppings usually happen a few times a day, and usually are the consistency of pudding - attract more flies, and are very smelly.

Droppings should never really have anything like egg white in it. They should be feces (solid greenish brownish worm-like), urine (clean and water-like), and urates (solid white pastey part on top of the dropping).

When you say egg white, do you mean clear and viscous, or white and relatively runny - like undercooked over-easy eggs?

Sometimes a bird will pass urine and urates together to make a watery white dropping but it shouldn't be all of the droppings. This is more common in the summer when they drink a lot.

What about the other droppings - the more normal ones - are they as described above, or runny? Is she of laying age, by the way? Is she skipping some eggs? It might be a good idea to put her up for a day to see all her droppings if you have her with other hens.
