I don't think they need grit when eating just yogurt...my babies have been fine without it. They get grit when they move to the outdoor brooder around 1 week old but thats only because they start getting other treats too!

I've heard of people putting apple cider vinegar in there water(1 teaspoon per gallon). Never tried that myself! After I made sure the one that had this problem of mine vents were clean, I used a Q-tip and put a coat of olive oil on and around there vent. This worked well for me. Also this shouldn't last longer than a week. Good luck!
