Poop picture ? could it be Clostridium perfringens - or?

Hi all - I've been dealing with a hurt chicken and not paying as much attention to the others! One's had slightly soiled rear feathers and runny poop - but otherwise, had been acting fine. I finally let the hurt chicken out this morning and turned my attention to this other chicken. I looked under the perch where she sits with her buddy and this is what I found - I left her buddy's poop in the pic to compare the two - note the bright green on the left:


Looking at poop pictures elsewhere, I'm worried she might have gotten into some wet seed (since it's been raining so much, so the floor under where I hang their feed got wet - normally it doesn't - and of course, since they spill a lot when they eat, she might have eaten wet seed before I had a chance to clean it up.

Could it be Clostridium perfringens or something else? If it is Clostridium perfringens, and she seems fine except for the poop, does it need to be treated no matter what, or will it resolve? If you think it is - how do I confirm it, and if she needs treatment, any suggestions?

I went through a bout of clostridium with one of mine last year. Poop looked like yours and she drank a lot more water than normal...was off slightly on her food. You will also see bits of undigested food in the poop if it's Clostridium (at least I did). I used Tylan to treat with healthy doses of greek yogurt to replace the good bacteria. Full recovery in about 3 weeks. There should be several other threads on here that discuss it, and you can always message Kathy (Casportpony) since she's one of the top treatment guru's on here. Thanks for the quick reply Cacique500, there did seem to be one or two grans of millet in it... so that's one of the reasons I wondered....

Anyone else feel free to weigh in... I need to find out if I need to get Tylan from the vet or not, how critical this is to deal with right away or not (it's going to be hard today, but then the vet isn't available tomorrow) etc. Can Tylan hurt her otherwise, etc.

To follow up, I went to the vet who insisted her poop was normal (even though to me it had all the signs of clostridium) even so, he gave me an antibiotic to give her for 7 days (which also seems odd - but I know of no other vet around here who sees chickens) At any rate, fortunately she seems fine... hopefully she is.
