Poop question

Maybe this seems wierd, but I have to ask anyway.... I noticed that my chicks 2 wks old now, sometimes have good solidish looking poops and then every once in a while have avery liquid poop. Sometimes it's ocre colored and other times mahagony colored. What is up with that? They have plenty of water and food. I do liet them out with supervision every few days in a pen on the yard, and their bedding is grass clippings. They are anconas and a red star if that makes any difference.

It's perfectly normal. Called cecal (sp?). It happens about every five to six stools.

The site with all the poops was great. I can just imagine the suthor running around saying "Wait! I need a picture of your poo.. don't step in it!" It gave me a good chuckle.
