Poop roof?

I’ve got a major problem with chicken poop all over the roof of their coop (they love to hang out there) that bakes on in minutes in the summer sun and is SO hard to get off. I blast it with the hose a couple times a week but it’s not really ideal because then the sand in the run is frequently wet. The whole process I think (the presence of poop and the excess water) is attracting flies. What do you do to keep your coop clean without water??? Hellppppp!!!

Keep them off the roof, make them a roost elsewhere so that the poop falls on the ground.
