Hello

I'm building a bigger coop for my chickens it's gonna be 150sf and I'm looking for an efficient easy to clean roosting area + poop shelf design (maybe nesting boxes under the poop shelf too) the coop is made of concrete and blocks, if you have any suggestions please with pictures preferred and thanks

Here is a pic of mine. There is only one roost bar up top and the slanted board under it catches all the poop. Just make sure it is wide enough, I think just over a foot on both sides of the bar will suffice. That lower bar was for silkies to get to the top when they were younger. Now the bottom bar is just there to get to the top and they also lay eggs under it. They refused to use nest boxes so eventually I removed them because they prefer the corners closest to the camera instead, the coop stays clean so I don't mind.

the coop is made of concrete and blocks,
Do you have a way to attach things to the walls?

Mine are 2' with roost in the middle and 8" above the boards.
There's less than half an inch of PDZ on them that gets fully sifted daily.

Here's some posts about it, they're kind of old, but changes are noted.
...and the threads these posts are in has a ton of examples of poop boards.

BIG BIG coop

I like how it is setup. May be big, but the cleanup is simplified as far as design goes. Just make it smaller for a backyard fit ?

(100 hens 1 coop, 100 meat birds a 2nd coop) ?

* of coarse its not solid brick & mortar
