poop stuck on chicks but

Hello all, One of my baby chicks have poop stuck to its butt. Should I be worried?

If it is covering the vent and preventing the chick from pooping, this can kill the chick. Clean with warm water and a paper towel (I hold the butt under the faucet on a slow trickle.) Wrap up the wet part of the chick and hold til dry, or use hair dryer on low. Apply a little lubricant to prevent recurrence: vaseline, veg oil, mineral oil, etc.

If it's just caught on the fuzz, not to worry.
