Poop While Butchering--What Can I Do?

Hey Y'all,
This spring I butchered about 75 birds and had 0 problems. Yesterday I butchered a bird and as I was in the process of skinning it, poop began to come out of its butt and onto the meat.

This morning the same process happened again.

These chickens have had feed withheld for over 24 hours, yet poop continues to work its way out while skinning.

What can I do?

Just wash it off. Not sure why it's happening when you've not had issues before, but it's not a problem. We've had lots of issues with that while learning to butcher. Just rinse well in water, get all the poop off. Cook as usual. None of us have gotten sick, and I'm on some pretty heavy duty immune suppressant meds, so if anyone was going to get sick it probably would have been me
