Poopsicles!

It's hard to think that it stays that cold in South Carolina that long, but you are correct. It will not stink until it thaws. I don't use any bedding in my droppings board, just scrape it off when I need to so I'm not sure how that's going to work out. You may need to pay attention to it when it does thaw, it could be getting kind of thick. Or if that bedding absorbs all that moisture you might be OK for a while. Just kind of play it by ear.

been building up in their litter trays. That's because it's frozen to the bottom, right through the Zeolite!
What are the trays made out of?
Can they be removed?
My poop board is lined with heavy duty vinyl, most of them pop right off.
Sometimes I (carefully)pound on them a bit to break them loose,
or stick the corner of my hoe under(again carefully) and pry them off, some I've had to just leave. I say 'carefully' because I cut the vinyl the first year by pounding at a curved corner, was able to repair it tho.

We finally came up above 32F today, was able to get all the poops off the board and roosts. Thought it was going to reek in there, but it didn't despite 70% humidity and the bird having been pretty much coop bound for the least 2 weeks due to almost constant snow and temps staying below mid teens.
