poopy but problem?

I was cleaning one of my chicks butts off and i think i tore his skin a little bit? its not bleeding a lot will he be ok or should i do somthing ?

use a Qtip and hydrogen peroxide. Dab some on. Don't see how you could possibly apply a bandage until it heals. LOL

ya i fell so bad for the little fellow! lol but im keepin it clean so hes doing good

intact skin is an excellent barrier to bacterial infection. You say there was little blood, so the wound couldn't have been deep. Some minor capillary bleeding is the most likely source. scabs are needed to restore the protection the skin has to bacteria. Use hydrogen peroxide to clean the wound, then let it dry and scab over. Frequent reapplication will inhibit the development of the scab, so don't use it more than once a day or so. Let it scab over and heal.
