Poopy butt turns skin red and angry! Looking for a preventative option

My 2 yr old GLW has loose poop. Always has. Anyway, the wetness of it all leaves her booty red, and raw. bathing her helps but i was wondering if there is something i can apply say, quickly day to day if i notice the redness. I dont want it to become infected. I need a preventative 'barrier'. was thinking of a dry dust of some material to absorb. Tomorrow I will give a spa day but cannot keep that up. once a month is even too much. (although, she does seem to enjoy the pampering). Thanks friends, I appreciate the advice.

Give her plain boiled white rice to eat for several days. It should help clear up the runs. You can mix it in her feed if you wish. Make sure you stop all the treats, goodies, and leftovers and feed her layer feed only.

The redness, inflammation and irritation is caused by urates running down her backside.
Apply Nu-Stock to the effected area as needed and it will eventually heal the area. Make sure you shake the tube well before applying it and wear disposable gloves. Feathers and fluff will regrow in time. It will also prevent any picking or pecking.
It can be found in the equine section at a feed store.

I was able to bathe her and added a bit of baking soda to the water. I made an outdoor bath station and she was SO calm that moving forward I could manage this once a month if necessary. I have a power outlet so I was able to blow dry her while she stood confident and content on a waist high table. Indoors shes much more unsettled; as am I! I will add the Nu-Stock to my list. (I'm pretty sure she enjoyed the bath)
