@threehorsesif you are still giving advice, I had a single hen that had a poopy but. It was a big hard clump. I cleaned her up and a week later it was back. Tonight I noticed two more of my reds with poopy buts. I feed a layer pellet from MFA, give oyster shell, and yogurt bi weekly. I am perinoid about keeping there food dry and fresh. They don't have grit at the moment, but part of the run is crushed limestone and they free range several times a week. I have poop boards under the roost(though one cross board between the two roost poles near the ladder is on my list to remove because they poop a pile there that must be at their butts by my weekly cleaning). Pine shavings in a 8.5x10 new coop with a 200+ square foot run at least sixty feet of which is covered.
The uncovered part is a lake right now and has been several times in the last month. We have had huge rains the smallest of which was a couple of weeks ago with four inches in a day. I have not seen the numbers yet for the last thirty hours, but we got four plus this afternoon alone. So conditions are wet. Everyone is eating well, and drinking the acv water

Worming? Gleet?
. The other hen looked goopier, but this was taken in the dry Thursday and the hens tonight are after tons of rain in the 30's
