Try using a poop board under the roost areas. Just take pieces of cardboard and lay them on the floor right under the roost. Then you don't have to scoop frozen poop. You can just pick up the cardbord, throw it away and lay down a new one.

As mentioned, dropping boards are your answer.

You can also try a dropping pit, but I find them distasteful.

DROPPING BOARD IS THE WAY TO GO.PULL THE BOARD OUT AND SCRAPE THE FROZEN POOP RIGHT IN TO THE WHEEL BARROW.THATS WHAT I DID TODAY U CAN GET ONE OF THEM LONG HANDLED SCRAPERS FOR 10 BUCKS OR SO THEY WORK GREAT .
