Yeah, but a regular cat isn't going to have eyes "4 to 5 inches apart". I wouldn't trust any estimates in inches made from 100 yards away at night, but bobcats are pretty distinct from small cats, and no small cat is going to kill and entirely eat a whole turkey.

Were there ants by the turkey carcass? Because some large species of ants that build especially large hills could strip a significant amount of meat from a skeleton. Not the whole thing, but a predator could have eaten most of it and the ants could have gotten the rest.

Well...doesn’t matter much if it was a bob cat or a billy cat it was a big cat! Hope you get it. It could be young and stupid... just the close proximity would be enough to freak me out. Got a big enough trap? How’s your aim? Go get em.

I do not have a trap. I do have a 17caliber and I can hit it in the eye with it at 100 yards.I have just enough homes around me were using a rifle is not safe.But if I can bait it to right area I can shoot it.Last nite it went away but I was up till Midnight.I can't keep that up.
There was some free ranging turkeys and two peacocks.they used to come visit. I haven't seen them in over a month!
People, horses are protective. If Red would have been able to get to Football I believe he would be alive today. I also believe Red is the reason Ive never had any problem before.My coops are converted stalls, so Red and Storms Paddock and pasture surround my Coops. Im going to give a box trap a try. I bet I catch 20 cats!
