poor hatches any ideas ?

Last two hatches have been poor,my incubator is a r-com suro and after every batch i steralise it.last batch was 18 eggs ,1st candle removed 6 eggs.2nd candle removed 3 eggs leaving 9 eggs into lockdown hatch day was mon 1 chick hatched none since.batch before that 24 eggs ,1st candle 6 removed 2nd candle 2 removed then into lockdown only 5 hatched.humidity set at 45% then 65% temp set at 99.5 has anyone any ideas just learned that i should calbrate my incubator each time is this so? help

Were these mailed eggs or your own? When did you first candle? Are you sure the eggs were not developing when you tossed them? We need a lot more information to help.

The eggs were got locally from another breeder,1st candle at 9 days then 18 days as for the eggs desposed of sure they were duds as no veins etc were present clear fluid 2nd candle hardly developed against the rest .
