Jack Black the little bantam Black Rose comb roo.

He lives in a 4x8 tractor with an upstairs penthouse.
Also with him are an Araucana bantam pullet and two BO pullets.
The BOs are twice his size but Jack Black rules the roost. He has it made in the shade. The lap of luxury.

Last week I got 4 BRs and was suspect about one being a roo.
They were put in the new coop within sight of, and certainly within hearing range of the tractor.
Now they are used to the new digs, and love the afternoon treats that DW gives them and this morning after I opened the pop door, they all came barreling out and the suspect roo clearly defined his male hood with a booming crow.

Jack Black went into full show mode! It was a sight.
Wing tips dragging the ground, puffed up, neck about to pop off his little body and tearing the fence up on the tractor wanting to get to that other roo!

What a sight! I really needed a video of that 1st confrontation. It was hilarious.

Yes, you should have gotten it on film. We need some chicken "funniest home videos".

Oh, he was a sight to behold.
All puffed up, bowed out, strutting and actually eating the chicken wire.

This is funny. But I'm tickled that one of the BR turned out to be a roo! It sound like you'll have more eggs to go in the bator soon- Oh, let me hatch them....I need test eggs for my soon-to-be new Christmas 'bator.
