poor Rocky started whining....not a noise you want to hear from a chicken....
...well anyway i was cleaning the coop and i hear him whining so i walk out cause i thought it was one of the hens but then i see him doing it.....anyway i pick him up and look over him and see that his vent is covered with a mass of chicken poo...i take him inside and ask grandma what to do...i get a turkey baster and a pan of warm water...i squeezed the mass in the middle and the top half falls off, i look away and the other part falls off...voila! its gone...some of the feathers also had poop on them but we took care of that...i set him down and he proclaims his presence to the world with a big rooster crow!!!
im so happy i caught it in time!
