Hoping someone can help?

I had a small flock of 7 but have lost two in the last week. Symptoms are shaking, green poo, twisting neck. They have shown no symptoms one day, but really poorly the next and then not made it through the day. :-( from what I have read it could be mareks?

I have three older hens that came from a large farm and I have had about two years. I am pretty certain they have had vaccinations but I got the other four locally. They are about 6 months old. Is there anything I can do to prevent the others catching it?

It sounds like it could be Mareks, but I would get the others on vitamins and electrolytes quickly, and make sure they can all reach their food. Green poo usually, but not always, can be from not eating. The twisting neck, or wry neck can be a symptom of disease such as Mareks, a vitamin deficiency, or head injury. Vitamins, especially B1, E, and selenium are used to treat wry neck. Some chickens can be immune to syptoms of Mareks, but are carriers. Good luck. Here are a couple of articles on Mareks: http://extension.unh.edu/resources/files/Resource000791_Rep813.pdf

Thank you, I will get some extra vitamins for the others. They can get to their food but I had noticed the food was going down less so that would explain it.
