I noticed one of my laying hens was a little quiet yesterday, but today she is very lethargic and her eye lids look a little swollen.
She normally has big round eyes, but they are kind of half closed today.
I saw her have a little diahorrea, which was yellow & white.
She hasn't eaten anything at all today from what I can see.
I can't see anything stuck in her vent & she seem to have no injuries.
She's normally a very lively, naughty, healthy hen.
I wonder if these symptoms ring any bells with anyone?
I've made her a quarrantine pen indoors & I will keep cheking she is getting fluids.
Also, can I give her some pet electrolyte mix in her water?
