poorly hen

I went to let my girls out this morning and 1 stayed in the coop I opened it up and it was just laying there with its wings open and wouldn't move. It's head was up and she was alert but just wouldn't get up what could be wrong with her she is only about 20 weeks old. Even now I have picked her up and put her outside but she's just laying there. Please help

Welcome to BYC! Is your hen eating or drinking? Does she have a large, bright comb? does she look healthy?

She looks healthy not really eating or drinking though and still hasn't moved from where I put her

Could it be a sign? Just concerned by the not eating and drinking

You need to examine her abdomen and check her vent. What does her poop look like?
Have you ever wormed your chickens? What colour is her comb and wattles?

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Sorry about your hen. You might want to post in the Emergencies forum about her https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures X2 on give her a really good going over looking for injuries etc. Has she been vaccinated?

She looks perfectly healthy nothing abnormal on her abdomen poo looks fine haven't wormed them since I got them 4 weeks ago.

I got home from work and she was up and about and had laid her 1st egg was a double yolker as well. Thanks for your help.
