Pop Door Question

I have Buff Orpington's and Rhode Island Reds. In the picture below you can see my (possibly temporary) Pop Door. It's about 8"x5". Should it be bigger?

I think you need to go bigger. I've been told that Orps are pretty big birds. Not sure about the others. We've got two orp chicks and an australorp. We decided 11x11 is a good size.

and that coop doesn't look big enough for 4 big girls.

You'll make out just fine. My coop is not much bigger and I have 4 chickens in it. As long as you have a place for them to roost and room for food/water, no problem. If they start pecking at each other a lot, you may want to expand!

My book says 10"Wx13"H is a good size for most large fowl breeds so that's what I went with.
