Why is a Pop Door called a 'Pop Door'...

When I open my Pop door in the morning, it looks like it vomited chickens out into the run. What would I call that door then? Barf door just doesn't ring right.

Hey, I think it's called a "pop door" cause if it didn't get opened by a certain time like clock work every morning, My chickens would "pop the crap outta me when I walked in". Thats why mine has a motor and timer....fun to watch them "popping out by twos" each morning.
