POPCORN as feed?

Is it ok to feed popped popcorn with butter and salt to my chickens? I have a good supply of it (A large plastic bag of it every Saturday night), and want to know if I can use it as a supplement feed or scratch or something.

Also, what about peanut butter left over from peanut butter sandwiches from my kids?

Not a good idea, salt is bad for chickens, just eat it yourself.

But yeah, a hand full maybe, but not too much as salt isn't good for them. They can't use it like we do. Plus, it's empty calories.

My chickens get pop-corn now and then (perhaps once a month) when I make some for the kids and there is left-overs............ they go NUTS...
(perhaps thats why they eat snow - it kinda looks the same

)

jareds44m, it's allright to feed them popcorn just not with salt on it. I have no clue about peanut butter.
