This is the Poppy thread. For those who don't know who Poppy is, she is my pet chicken (my favorite over seven. Sorry guys) I will post more later

She's not sick, she just has a bunch of cactus fruit on her, making her look sick with a purple-black comb.

Disclaimer: for all you looking at poor Poppys black comb, face & waddles & thinking she must be ill, don't worry, its just cactus pear. The chickens stalk our giant cactus plant staring at the pears, trying to use 'The Force' to make them fall down. Some of the more distinguished chickens (ahem...Hopey) have the decency to clean the juice off, but Poppy walks around all day, everyday covered in a sticky, messy goo. But I love Frankie, & Frankie loves Poppy, so therefore I love Poppy too (even if she is a sticky mess & tries to peck my toes.)
