I have a young porcelain hen ( she's mixed ) and she laid her first egg today. And it got me thinking. I have quite a few roosters. If I were to mix her with another porcelain would the chicks be porcelain as well? I have a buff orpington rooster, how would the chicks look if he fathered them. Does anyone know of a website I could test the genetics? I'm excited about the possibilitys.

That does not look like a porcelain hen, rather, she looks to be lavender duckwing, also known as isabel. So if you bred her with a porcelain, she would not produce porcelain, she would produce lavender gold columbian.
If you bred her with a buff Orpington she would produce black-tailed buff. Note that while technically the genetics for solid buff are all there, usually in their heterozygous form more black will leak into the buff.

She's not porcelain?

Do you what her parents are?
IDK if she's even has lavender. If she was lavender her hackles should match her tail. Also hackles seem too dark for lavender.
I'd lean more towards a (very light) blue Columbian.

Possible moms are: partridge rock, silver lace Wyandotte, Americana ( white with black), sapphire gem, Isa brown.
Possible dad's: old game bantam mix and dark Cornish
