I have a lavendar oegb rooster and a porcelain d'uccle hen. Any idea what I can expect chick wise? I also have a partridge silkie hen in with him. Would I get anything neat from this cross? Thanks!

With the partridge hen I’d expect a darker colored chicken, no silkiness, no lavender or porcelain, limited feathered feet if your silkie has feathered feet.

Same goes with crest or beards. You would get limited crest/beard if the silkie has whichever trait/s.

I wanted to update you on what this cross looks like!

I also ended up with some Sultan/Lavender oegb chicks. I'll post pics later, but pretty poofy cheeked, bearded babies!

The sultan/lavendar oegb chicks turned out all black. But they are beautiful. Is that to be expected with a white/lavendar cross? Thanks

The chick in the pic is clearly wildtype with lavender mutation, Porcelain are eb and sometimes e+ but pure Lavender(self lavender is basically a black bird with lavender on them) are Extended Black(E/E) the Lavender parent of this chick is E/e+ so when crossed to the Procelain then it produced this chick and this chick is either e+/e+ or e+/eb and lavender dilution mutation ofcourse

The chicken in the picture is from a different crossing, my porcelain d'uccle and the lavendar oegb. They all hatched together, just did not get pics of the sultan/lavendar oegb crosses which were all black.
