so i have a whole lot of pork leftovers lying around from the pig we butchered right now i am making pig ears for the dogs. i am going to be making some lard as well but i still have a whole lot of well "pork stuff" what can the chickens have? i have never given them any meat so many people have told me not too but i am seeing on here that people do

I'd keep all the useful innards like liver, kidneys, etc and freeze them in portions. Then just before feeding them to the birds I'd boil them.
I'm not sure if this precaution is necessary, but it's a shame to waste good protein while feeding birds stuff bought at shops.

My chickens never have asked for their meat med rare they just want it fresh.
