I'm thinking about it. Is the quality from Porter's pretty good?

I really do not want 15 turkeys, but finding what I want locally doesn't seem to be happening. So 15 poults is better than no poults.

I odered 15, will only keep 5, but selling extra poults is easy squeezy around here. Porters Quality to the absolute BEST!

I really do not want 15 turkeys, but finding what I want locally doesn't seem to be happening. So 15 poults is better than no poults.

15 is really not that bad! Shipping is very hard on poults and you can expect a few to die is shipping or shortly after they get there. Get them and raise them about a week and sell the extras. I have several of Kevin's birds but I got all mine as eggs. He selles eggs in the summer when it is too hot to ship poults.

We started with 15 this year, lost 3 in the first 24 hours, lost 3 more at 3 weeks (which for some reason we always seem to lose some at for unknown reasons), and ended up with 9. We were happy with that number ... but then at 3 1/2 months we lost 4 more to a opossum who ate their heads and left the rest. It was sad and an expensive loss ... so starting with 15 is GOOD thing.
