Ok so on another thread I noted and updates on a pigeon I rescued at around 15 days old and named Flapjack...well now that she can free fly and bath I decided I needed to get her a buddy since I'll 've going back to school soon and didn't want her lonely. She hates the new bird -_- I noted her possesiveness a few times in our back yard when shed see other birds but she will full on chase this pigeon when I am near it :/ and it is notably bigger but she harasses it :( she's not very old and ive only had her from about 15-17 days old, I figured she wouldn't imprint. Is this cause she's been away from her own kind for so long? Can it be fixed? The other bird wants to flock w/ her but she just guards me like a dog :(

Lol I think it’s cute that she is guarding you. I have never had this problem with pigeons but I have with dogs and it is fixable.

Give it some time. Not uncommon for them to fight like that when first introduced. They should settle down, and more likely than not befriend each other and maybe even become a mated pair. Of course, use common sense, if they are hurting each other it is best to separate them while keeping them close by, such as a cage with a see through divider so they can see each other but cannot physically access each other. You can even do this as a safe measure if they are not hurting each other, as there is no harm in having a divider in for a few days for them to get used to each other. In fact, that is a common practice by breeders introducing prospective new mates or new pigeons.
