Hi all!
In my recent order for chicks I selected 6 for ‘egg color variety’. Hoover lists only marans and various Easter eggers for that pack, but I’m pretty sure 3 of my chicks are not Easter eggers. After using their ID page and talking with a friend we are leaning towards golden comets. Would appreciate any feedback in regards to the ID.
Pics attached show one of the 3 chicks. They were golden, slightly darker than my buff orphintons, and had a faint ‘chipmunk’ pattern with the back stripes, similar to the Easter Egger stripes.
Next couple of pics show one of the 3 today, compared to a buff orphinton chick.
Last two are just of one of the chicks in question on its own. (Posting from my phone so hopefully this works ok)
