So one of my game hens has decided to sleep in the nesting boxes under 2 eggs. And I put 4 eggs in her face, I went to go feed my other chickens I came back in and they were under Her? She's gone broody before the same way.

She has that pancake broody form. I startled her with the flash. but shes not making broody noises but she wont get up??
Anybody got any thoughts?

Maybe she's in the early stages of broodiness? The fact that she moved the additional eggs under her does suggest her being broody. If she's sitting all the time apart from to eat / poop, then maybe leave the eggs with her and see what she does.

Yeah I'll keep you guys updated. The last time she went broody, it started off like this. So I have high hopes

Thats good. Personally i let me hens be broody for a week or so before putting eggs under them - just to be sure that they are full broody mode.

All the best with hatch!

She wasn't on the nest the whole day but she returned to the nest at night and tuck all the eggs under her and is in a pancake form

Sounds like she is not 100% broody. I very much doubt that those eggs will not hatch. Personally, i'd remove the eggs and see if she goes to 100% broody mode before setting any more eggs under her.

Good luck

I never put any eggs for her to hatch. I remove all the eggs in the morning. So her best gets removed everyday
