Buff orpington x ee mix. Is this a possible cockerel? A month old on the 17th. Possible comb type?

Pea comb, looks like it could be a cockerel, but the lighting makes it a bit hard to tell, it's also a bit young to see for sure.

Not sure. I have a roo already (daddy of its.) I dont have a large flock. I hatched out 18 due to most of my hens getting taken out by predators

If you want to post a pic of the comb in natural lighting right now, I'll look at it. Sometimes roos show red combs when they're young. I just can't see the colors or size ofothe comb in the original pics.

I'll take a pic in the morning. They are out in the garage with no other lighting besides the lights
