Possible cyst?

I have an Australorp hen, about a year and a half old, with a bubble (about the size of a nickel, but slightly less wider than the length of a dime) of liquid in her wattle. I gently poked and felt it to see if I could figure it out on my own, but it appears to contain liquid, and I want to know if it's the start of a cyst or not, and if so, do I drain it (how do I do that?), or do I leave it alone until it possibly hardens and I have to remove it? She also seems to have a dull, very small, off-white speck on her eye, and she's flicking her head every few seconds.

Can you post some photos?

Have you tried flushing the eye with saline to see if she may have a speck of dust/debris on the eye, that could be the reason for the flicking of the head if she has something in it.
Also look in her ears to see if there are any lice/mites in the ear canal.

As far as the swollen wattle how long has it been swollen, look to see if there is any peck mark/insect bite that may have caused the swelling. It may be one of those "wait and see" situations as whether to drain it or not. Keep a close eye on it, if it gets larger, changes color, starts oozing, bleeding or has a smell, then you may need to treat it.

Just my thoughts

I can't, actually. I'm a teen, and for the moment, I don't have any access to an electronic device that can take photographs.

As for her eye, I've looked it over, and it seems that the speck isn't on her eye, but a part of it..? If that doesn't sound too confusing. I will examine her ears when I have a helper available to hold her down long enough to see it. She's a wiggler and doesn't like to be held still, as she'll peck and thrash around with her legs and wings.

I've looked around at the wattle for any type of injury, but there doesn't seem to be anything visible. It looks completely normal, except for the bubble on the inside. The skin is nice and red and healthy looking, so I've no idea what it could be. It just looks like she's had it inflated.

It definitely has some sort of liquid in it though. I've been watching it, and I noticed it about two-three days ago, but since I just got back from vacation on Sunday, I don't know when it started. I will continue to watch it, and I'll update when I can. Thank you so much for the answer, I appreciate it! As to if it turns out to be a cyst that hardens, I know how to take care of that, but if that happens, I'm not looking forward to it.
