Possible ear infection. What else could it be? Any ideas on treatment. This is our first issue and we have had chickens for over a year.

Is there any swelling on the other side of her face?

She's got a bit of injury to the eye and the discoloration around the beak and wattle as well. Does the purple extend down the underneath her beak and throat? Anything inside the beak, pasty material or lesions?
Any yellow pus or debris inside the ear? Behind the tuft of feathers at the red arrow.

Where are you located in the world?
I would examine her closely for an embedded tick just to see if that may be what's causing the swelling.

There is no swelling on the other side of her face. I am located in Western Kentucky. I will update with a new picture in just a bit.
