I just made my account yesterday and couldn't help but respond. I am so sorry that no one responded to your post it was breaking my heart reading what you posted and as soon as I saw the word aspirin I immediately responded before I finished reading the post.

Misty suddenly went downhill on Sunday and died in my daughter's hands. Since she was a pet I did not do a necropsy.... I suspect she may have had a tumour in her abdomen - that would explain the lump below her vent... She was pooping and eating and drinking well until the last few hours. My daughter is of course, devastated.
