Noticed this afternoon a chicken puffed up and not responding to me tossing out some food like the others, she seems to be a little more solid by her vent area. We got inside gave her a warm bath, she did poop out a green poop while in the bath, but still acting very docile, gave her food and water and she's in a dark room in a tote for the night. Also we can not necessarily feel the egg while trying to feel inside her vent, but when compared to other chickens stomach area she does feel harder. Is there anything else I can do besides a couple warm bath every couple hours.

Give her a calcium tablet to encourage contractions to move the egg out. You can't always feel the egg. It can be a shell-less egg farther up the oviduct. Be sure she also has plenty of water to drink.

Thank you, we gave her some tums, some alfalfa they like to eat and some calcium glucosamine. Soaked her last night at 2 am and woke up to two eggs, one was a soft shell and one was normal. She seemed back to normal afterwards and went back outside grazing.
