So I have been noticing one of my chickens was outstretching her neck, and few weeks later I not can here her audibly making a whistling noise. A few other bird have ocassionally outstretched their necks but nothing obvious. Could it be gape worm? Or any other thoughts? Thanks

Can you post a video of her?

Look inside her beak for any obstruction, plaques, lesions or canker. The whistling can be a number of things like something stuck in the throat, respiratory infection or possibly a crop problem. Check to make sure the crop is empty in the morning before she eats/drinks. Also that her nostrils are free of dirt.

Gapeworm is fairly rare and a bird would be coughing, not eating/drinking, inactive and in respiratory distress.

Safeguard is sold at Tractor supply or online it is very effective against gapeworm you might want to try some. They sell an oral goat suspension that you can use a syringe or dropper into their mouth.
