Possible Gapeworm in crop...?

They are not gapeworms and you cannot see gapeworm eggs since they are microscopic. I suspect some type of tumors/cysts.
I'm not sure what that is. @dawg53 @Eggcessive @casportpony ? Have you seen this before?

For me if I process a bird and am in doubt of quality, disease or anything else, I will throw it out.
How did her internal organs, intestines and lungs look?
i do not know what the rest of organs looked like. The boys take care of that part. The only thing I know, is that he said there were little cysts all along the spine ...? But the crop caught their attention and they brought it to me. They destroyed the rest as they “dressed out” and processed the hen.

When in doubt throw it out.

We discarded the meat. It did have some black specs here and there. I didn’t want to take any risk.

(?Plus this have been related to diet or exposure to something?
I have 2 other adult RIR Hens who aren’t laying eggs. They have not been successful laters since I got them. These were gifted to me at the end of May. I was told they were the “bullies” out of the flock of 13. They didn’t want them. They pecked each other constantly. I took these hens because I felt they were just in an area that too confined for 13 and no actual chicken run.

(?) Now I’m wondering if he suspected they were all sick? Would it be safe to even eat their eggs if and when they start laying again.

I wouldnt jump the gun just yet. This is the time of the year that birds slack off or completely stop laying eggs due to the decrease in daylight hours. Birds also can go into molt and will eventually regrow feathers, they normally stop laying eggs during molt as well.
I forgot to add that the stress from moving from one place to another can cause birds to stop laying for a period of time.
