Possible gapeworm?

Have any of you ever dealt with gapeworm? I have a hen that is acting completely normal, she is eating, drinking, pooping, and laying. But twice now she has given me quite a scare; she just stands still and extends her neck out and both times I thought she was dying. She does it for about a minute and then is completely fine. Now today she has some funky yellow discharge coming from her mouth. Any ideas or help is appreciated!

It's not gapeworm if she's eating, drinking, and laying.
Have you felt her crop early in the morning before she has eaten? it should be empty. If not, it could sour or impacted crop, maybe impacted gizzard.

Her crop is empty in the morning. You could be onto something with impacted gizzard though. How can I treat this?

Try giving her tomato juice via eyedropper. There are no guarantees though.
