Possible Marek's?

Don't we all need 4 hands? lol
As long as you know that she has no cuts on her foot that needs to be cleaned, then i would leave it on for a long while, well change it when it gets dirty from her walking on ect.
when this happens to chicks, they call it splayed leg, and you leave the wrap on for as long as it takes for the leg to heal up. sometimes it don't go back normally, but sometimes they do.

if your girl has a sprain or broken then the wrap may help a whole lot for her, leave it on as long as you can until you see improvement.
Just change it hear and then.

How she doing eating? Also is she acting normal?

She is eating very good and drinking very good, also pooping normal. She is getting a little stir crazy in her large tote tub, but my floors are wood and she can't walk on them and it is too cold to let her outside. She has been in the warm house and with her lack of feathers I don't want her to get chilled. I think I will put an old rug down in the kitchen so she can streatch her wings and walk around. She has been talking more now he leg is wrapped also. She looks goofy, but she is definetly feeling better.

Thanks, Emma

Just a quick update: These leg wraps work wonders. Goldie feels so good today she is trying to jump on stuff. Of course she can't quite make it and I had to put her to bed for being to jumpy.

Thanks to all you helped us

I'm so glad she's doing better!

It's amazing what a little TLC can do.

Now I'm envisioning a chicken jumping up and down on the bed.... I think you need to post a picture!

Thank you. I was having a heck of a time keeping her quiet. She was in the kitchen and kept eyeballing the counters and dishwasher. She is quite the jumper. She tried to jump on top of her bed, but her wrapped leg is too heavy and she didn't quite make it. She was mad I had to put her to bed, she kept cackling at me everytime I walked by. She is quite the character.

I can see her jumping on the bed too. She probably would if I let her. HeHe.

Maybe I'll set up the trampoline for her, it's a little bent though, my pony tried to get on it over the summer and my mom took it down. They just don't hold up to pudgy little Shetlands!

I left Goldie out today in the kitchen, she gets better everyday! She sure is stinky though and I'm running out of newspaper. She is eating a lot and messing even more. She is happy and I'm glad I joined this forum for help. Thank you everybody.
